Burka Silinga is a water-washing plant in Ethiopia's Gashfi region that receives coffee cherries from around 500 small farmers. The smallholder farms in this area are only about 2 hectares in size, so in addition to coffee, corn can also be grown to support a family. The treatment plant uses a traditional washing process, which requires 48 hours of fermentation time. Coffee beans with paper skins are spread out on 100 coffee beds to dry on a large scale. A nearby lagoon is also covered with sewage treatment equipment to filter and purify used water. This time, when we were doing the first cup test, we drank rich grapefruit tea and white flower sweet flavor, and immediately increased the stock, so that everyone can have the opportunity to drink such excellent coffee.
