Susi Mulyati, a coffee picker, lives in the remote mountains, where she lives with her 5-year-old son in a primitive cabin in the village, where her husband was killed in armed conflict. There are many single mothers like her, so they formed a women's coffee cooperative called Megah Berseri (magnificent light). The cultivation and harvest of coffee is the main source of income for their survival.

The mantenin coffee produced by the Xiaguang Cooperative is organically grown without the application of pesticides, and the ripe sweet red fruits are picked. After wet planing and natural sun drying, they plant, pick and carefully select Mantenin three times. The raw beans are green, clean and tidy, and the raw beans treated with wet planing have a special warm and lustrous color like an emerald.

Some of the profits from the sale of these special batches of Mantenin coffee will be returned to the village to help them live, train farming techniques, set up scholarships for their children, and support pregnant mothers.
