Points for attention in the operation of coffee machine

Matters needing attention in daily operation

1. Please do not use the coffee machine when the water is cut off.

2. Before operating the coffee machine, please pay attention to the use only when the boiler pressure pointer reaches the green area (1~1.2bar). When using, the temperature of the steam rod, the nozzle of the hot water outlet and the cooking outlet is very high, please do not expose your hands nearby to avoid the damage caused by the high temperature.

3. When pumping water by the stabilized motor, pay attention to observe whether the water pressure on the pressure gauge is in the green area (8~10bar).

4. in order to prevent the danger of overheating, please keep the power supply smooth, the ventilation inlet and outlet should not be blocked; do not cover towels or similar things except cups and plates on the warm cup rack.

5. The cup must be completely dry before it can be placed on the warm cup rack; do not place anything except the cup and plate on the warm cup rack.

6. If you do not use the coffee machine for a long time, please turn off the power and completely release the pressure in the boiler of the machine.

7. Any accessories of machinery and equipment should not be scrubbed with iron wire, steel brush and other items; they must be carefully scrubbed with a wet dishcloth.

8. Put the right amount of coffee powder into the handle of the filter cup and press it carefully. Note: do not leave coffee powder on the edge of the filter cup, so that there will be no air in the cooking process to reduce the pressure, but also can prolong the life of the cooking head washer.

9. When inserting the handle of the filter cup into the cooking head, please insert it tightly. Otherwise, the handle will bounce off due to excessive pressure during production.

Cleaning and maintenance of coffee machine

Daily cleaning and maintenance work

1. Coffee machine body cleaning:

Wipe the fuselage with a wet rag before starting up every day. If you need to use a cleaner, please choose a mild and non-corrosive cleaner to spray it on the wet rag and then wipe the fuselage (note that the rag should not be too wet, and cleaning should not be sprayed directly on the fuselage, to prevent excess water and detergent from seeping into the circuit system and eroding wires to cause short circuit).

2. The outlet of cooking head:

After each production, remove the handle and press the cleaning button to wash down the coffee grounds left in the cooking head and on the strainer. Then insert the handle into the seat (note: do not hold the handle tight at this time) press the cleaning button and shake the handle left and right to wash the cooking head washer and coffee grounds on the inside of the cooking head.

3. Steam rods:

After making milk foam with a steam stick, wipe the steam stick with a clean wet dishcloth and turn on the steam switch again, making use of the impulse and high temperature of the steam itself to automatically clean the residual milk dirt in the air hole to maintain the smooth flow of the air hole.

If there is residual milk crystallization on the steam rod, soak the steam rod in a steel cup filled with 8% hot water to soften the crystallization in the jet hole and on the steam rod, remove the steel cup after 20 minutes, and repeat the operation in the first paragraph above.

4. Boiler:

In order to prolong the service life of the boiler, if the machine is not used for a long time, please turn off the power supply and turn on the steam switch to completely release the pressure in the boiler until the boiler pressure gauge indicates zero. Clean the water tray and drainage trough after the steam is no longer ejected (note: do not turn off the steam switch at this time, turn off the steam rod when hot water drips out the next day, in order to balance the pressure inside and outside the boiler).

5. Water tray:

Before opening the shop or before use, remove the water tray and scrub it with a clean water dishcloth and put it back after drying.

6. Drain trough:

After removing the water tray, clean the sediment in the drain with a wet rag or napkin, and then rinse with hot water to keep the drain open.

If the drainage is poor, pour a small spoonful of cleaning powder into the drain and rinse with hot water to dissolve the coffee residue oil in the drainage pipe.

7. Filter cup and filter cup handle:

Wash the handle with hot water at least once a day to dissolve the coffee oil and sediment left on the handle, so as to prevent part of the oil and sediment from flowing into the coffee during cooking and affecting the quality of the coffee.

8. Brewing system and filter cup handle:

Remove any filter cup handle and replace it with a non-porous filter cup for cleaning and disinfection.

Put a tablespoon of cleaning powder (2-3 grams) into a filter cup

Insert the filter cup handle into the receptacle and check for full fit

Press the cleaning button for about 2-3 seconds and then press the button to stop. Repeat this several times before relaxing the handle. Press the cleaning key and shake the handle left and right to wash the cooking head washer and the inside of the cooking head until the water in the filter cup becomes clean and colorless.

Remove the handle after the cleaning is completed, press the cleaning button to make the remaining cleaning powder flow out of the brewing system, and press the button to stop after about 1 minute.

Try to make a cup of coffee to remove the smell after cleaning.

If there are multiple water outlets, other water outlets also repeat the above steps for cleaning and maintenance.

2. Weekly cleaning and maintenance work

1. Water outlet:

Remove the cooking copper head and filter screen from the outlet (if the machine has just been used, pay attention to hot hands), soak it in the cleaning solution (500ml hot water is mixed with three tablespoons of cleaning powder) for one day, and release coffee oil dregs and blockage from the copper head filter hole and filter screen.

Rinse all accessories with clean water and scrub with a clean, soft wet rag

Check to see if the copper filter is also unobstructed. If there is any obstruction, please clear it carefully with thin wire or needle.

Replace all the accessories.

2. Filter cup and filter cup handle:

Soak the handle in the cleaning solution (500ml hot water mixed with three tablespoons of cleaning powder) and explain the residual coffee oil residue (note: the plastic part of the handle should not be soaked in the cleaning solution to prevent the plastic surface of the handle from being eroded by the cleaning solution).

Rinse all accessories with clean water and scrub with a clean, soft wet rag

Replace all the accessories.

Monthly and quarterly cleaning and maintenance

1. Water filter: check and replace the filter core of the first and second water filter. It is recommended to change it once a month.

2. Water softener:

To inspect and regenerate the third water softener, the steps are as follows:

Turn off the water

Remove and clean the third water softener and soak it in 10% brine overnight.

After drying, it can be reused for 2 or 3 times for a period of 2 months.
