Kendino Estate is located in the southwest of Colombia, in the town of Suaza, between the Andes Mountains and Nevado del Huila Volcano, at an altitude of 1,650 - 1,800 meters. The estate has another name, El Divino Niño (Jesus as a child), a local name for Suasa and a symbol of good luck and hope.

Cantillo is the surname of the estate manager, and Isaias Cantillo and Eugenio Cantillo are the estate managers. Isaias Cantillo was formerly a coffee cherry picker, employed by coffee farmers in coffee producing areas such as Huila, Tolima and Risaralda, and drifted around picking coffee cherries. Isaias Cantillo decided to settle down after meeting his wife Nidia and bought a plot of land in Suasa to plant his first coffee tree. Inspired by his brother Isaias Cantillo, Eugenio Cantillo also decided to enter the coffee growing industry and bought another piece of land near Isaias Cantillo's plot to grow coffee.

The mission of the farm is to "produce high quality coffee beans." With this goal in mind, the Kendino brothers believe they can get better pay to run Kendino Manor sustainably. Isaias Cantillo won first place in the COE competition in 2007 with a high score of 91.50. The privilege of being a champion helps Isaias Cantillo gain more resources and knowledge about growing coffee, and passes on this invaluable wisdom to the second generation who join the estate.

Isaias Cantillo's motto is "Love what you do, you will be rewarded well", and the enthusiasm that this brings is constantly reflected in the daily work of the Cantillo family.
