Coffee seeds are usually processed, roasted and ground to get the coffee we drink, and these three levels represent different levels of "freshness":

1. Fresh raw beans

Coffee is a crop, and coffee beans are made from the seeds of the fruit, so the freshness of raw beans will deeply affect the flavor of coffee, and coffee baked with fresh raw beans will taste better.

Once the coffee is harvested and processed, the best taste period of raw beans can last about a year in good condition. With the longer the storage time, the moisture of coffee beans will be less and less, making coffee beans tasteless, and the flavor of raw beans will also be affected by external humidity and smell.

Good preservation of fresh beans can make a good cup of coffee.

two。 Fresh baking

Roasted coffee beans have a much shorter shelf life than raw beans. According to the depth of roasting, coffee should be brewed at least three days after baking. (freshly roasted coffee is not suitable for direct drinking, because coffee beans emit a lot of carbon dioxide.), try not to store it for more than a month.

When buying coffee, please look at the "baking date" instead of "shelf life". If the packaging is not dated, it may be coffee beans that have been kept for some time.

A bean bag without a baking date may not be a good sign.

3. Fresh grinding

Coffee will produce a lot of aroma after grinding, which is why beans must be ground before brewing coffee, which will form a charming flavor of coffee. In order to grasp this good flavor, we must seize the prime time of 15 minutes after grinding and brew the coffee powder, otherwise it will be a pity for the aroma and flavor of this coffee.
