And why did you name this bean Matambo Forest? This involves a very sad and beautiful love story.
Many years ago, there was a beautiful Queen Miltayu who was loved by the people of Mitchell in Colombia. One day, the most heroic warrior in the region, the giant Matambo, led his army here to launch an attack. Queen Mirtayu faced the giant bravely. Matambo was immediately fascinated by Mirtayu's beauty and apologized for the atrocities he almost committed. The friendship between Mirtayu and Matambo developed into love. In order to protect the safety of his lover, Matambo asked the queen to travel far away. The Queen watched from a distance as Matambo fought bravely against thousands of people to defend their love and right to be together. At the end of the last battle, Matambo was fatally wounded and fell to the ground. Tortured by the loss of a loved one, tears fell from her eyes, and the queen collapsed and followed Matambo to die. Now, the stone statues of Mirtayu and Matambo can be seen in two huge rock formations not far from where the coffee was planted.
Therefore, in order to commemorate this sad and beautiful love story, this bean has the name "Matambo Forest".
