For coffee lovers, the place names mentioned are the hometown that fills the tongue with a sense of belonging. The flavor of thousands of cups is the "homesickness" of coffee beans.
Coffee is grown in more than 70 countries around the world, mostly in Central and South America, Southeast Asia and Africa. Because coffee beans are suitable for growing between the equator and the Tropic of Cancer, this area is known as the "coffee belt", and Colombia, on the Caribbean coast, is within this range.
There are cafes on the streets of Colombia, and customers are packed from morning till night. Coffee is so deeply rooted in the hearts of the people that Garcia Malke talks about coffee in every chapter of A hundred years of Solitude.
As the third-largest coffee producer, Colombia does not have many large commercial estates. On the contrary, 95% of Colombian estates are small estates, with a large number, and most of them are planted with less than 5 hectares, almost entirely by artificial production, operating in the form of small farmers and family trade. this undoubtedly allows coffee lovers to taste more differences in the characteristics of coffee beans.
Nowadays, the feeling of fruit juice is no longer the unique characteristic of African beans. The coffee produced by minority estates also has round acidity and sweet aftertaste, and some private beans will be remembered.
-Creek Manor-
The Creek Manor in Salalda, Colombia is a niche coffee farm. The estate was founded by Juan and Julio, both of whom are the third-generation successors of the famous local coffee family.
The original intention of the estate is to better study the cultivation and treatment of special varieties of boutique coffee, while providing the highest quality boutique coffee for the Colombian and international markets.
Brook Manor has a unique triple fermentation sun treatment "T.F. Natural Process", which produces a strong aroma different from the typical washed coffee so that the coffee beans show more levels of flavor.
Now the landowners grow many well-known special varieties in the garden according to different microclimatic environments, including pointed Bourbon, Sultan Rumi, Little Moka, Marago Gibe, Pink Bourbon and so on.
