Qianjie-Ethiopia Sunshine Sidamo Aldi G1 introduction
Production area introduction
The Sidamo producing area is located in the south of Ethiopia, with an altitude of 1400 to 2200m above sea level. It has a distinct dry and wet season and is a double rainy season, so it can be harvested twice a year. Coffee is usually grown as a small farmer in this area, and it is more cost-effective for farmers to grow coffee and other crops in their own countryside. Different from the citrus flavor of Yirgacheffe, the ripe berry flavor of Sidamo is more mild and rich.
This coffee is named after the alias Ardi of the female ancestor ape fossil ARA-VP-6/500 discovered in 1992. Ardi is a paleontology older than Lucy, the oldest known Australopithecus. The name Ardi comes from Afar, meaning "ground" (originally mistakenly thought to mean "root").
Flavor introduction:
Sun Sidamo beans look yellowish green, in addition to the citrus flavor of washed beans, there is also a strong fruit aroma, this special fruit aroma comes from the sun treatment, coffee beans are wrapped in the pulp for up to two weeks of dry fermentation; therefore, the sour aroma of fermented fruit is the most obvious characteristic of sun-dried beans.
Fresh strawberry and blueberry dominant berry fermented aromas, accompanied by sweet aromas of Bordeaux, mango and ripe banana, sour white grapes, elegant and refreshing black tea taste. There is a hint of brandy in the middle and back, with cinnamon chocolate and nuts in the finish.
