Introduction to the basic variety of coffee-bourbon (Bourbon): it is mutated from the early tin card and is the closest to the original species. In 1715, France began to pay attention to the transplantation of Yemeni mocha beans to Bourbon Island on the east coast of Africa. Bourbon is mainly composed of round beans, which has the same high-quality taste as tin card, like the sour taste of red wine and sweet finish.

Bobang variety originated from St. Helena Island, the top young leaves are green, commonly known as "green Bobang" or "Bobang round body". Scientific name:

Coffee Arabica L. Var. Bourbon Rodr. Ex. Choussy . The British East India Company was introduced from Yemen in 1732, rather than the round shape of the Bobang, which the French claimed that "the Yemeni mocha was transplanted to the island of Bobang." Yemen is the bridgehead of the spread of Iron pickup and Bourbon from Ethiopia. Bourbon round body is grown in Central America, Kenya and Tanzania, such as Brazil.

(1) 1715-1727: in 1715, the French East India Company took 60 coffee seedlings from Yemen and planted them on the island of Bobang, two of which were named round bourbon; in 1717, the French shipped a batch of round bourbon seedlings from Yemen.

(2) 1732: the British East India Company took coffee seedlings from Yemen and planted them on St. Helena Island, where farmers still call it the Green Top Bo State.

(3) 1810: the sharp body of Bobang appeared on the island of Bobang.

(4) 1860: the French transplant the pointed body of Bourbon to the island of New Caledonia in eastern Australia.

(5) from 1860 to 1870: Bobang varieties were introduced into Brazil and gradually replaced Tibica.

(6) after 1900: French missionaries were introduced to Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda from Bobang Island. except for Ethiopia, they are still dominated by Bobang or SL28 and Sl34, while Tibica is dominant in Asia.

(7) after 2000: there are a few sharp bodies in Colombia and Brazil.
