Coffee chain COSTA continues to make new changes: step up the distribution of ready-to-drink coffee market, taking the lead in launching two kinds of ready-to-drink coffee products in the UK market.

According to reports, these two ready-to-drink coffee products include vanilla lattes and fragrant white.

Among them, vanilla latte ready-to-drink coffee is one of the most popular products in COSTA stores, while Furei White ready-to-drink coffee will be more rich in coffee taste due to the dual effects of espresso and cream milk. Most importantly, this coffee product contains only 76 calories per 200ml can.

It is understood that COSTA has more than 2700 coffee shops in the UK and Ireland. The company has 16000 employees in wholly-owned stores in the UK and 10500 employees in 1100 franchise stores. Headquartered in the UK, it is the earliest and now the only coffee chain brand in the UK that controls the whole process from coffee bean cultivation to coffee sales. COSTA operates in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region. Operations include coffee brands and nearly 4000 stores and professional baristas, coffee vending machine business, household coffee business and coffee roasting business.

In 2006, COSTA Coffee officially entered the Chinese market and opened its first store in China in East Nanjing Road pedestrian Street in Shanghai, initially entering the Chinese market. COSTA chose a joint venture with local enterprises, including Beijing Hualian Group and Jiangsu Yueda Group, and operated separately in the northern and southern markets. With the blessing of these conditions, the opening speed of COSTA stores has developed rapidly.

In the Chinese market, the coffee chain brand COSTA has also attracted public attention for many times because of its coffee business, especially when the development of the coffee retail industry encountered a bottleneck last year. As a result, COSTA fell into the camp of large-scale store closures. The announcement of closure of stores in many places has become one of the hot topics, including 10% of COSTA in more than 400 coffee shops in China, including many stores in Beijing, Hangzhou, Qingdao, Nanjing and other places.

However, COSTA did not stop moving forward. As for the store closure, COSTA responded that "due to the impact of store flow and changes in economic operation", store closure is only "part of business optimization and adjustment", while expressing confidence in the Chinese market that it will not slow down the pace of continuing to open stores in China, COSTA quickly shifted its development direction, and now COSTA is shifting the focus of the Chinese market to multi-channel development.

In fact, whether at the brand level or the product level, in recent years, COSTA has been providing consumers with more high-quality and diversified coffee experience through continuous innovation, including the launch of quick coffee selection business with Coca-Cola and cross-border launch of a variety of products, etc., not surprisingly, COSTA will also vigorously promote a multi-scene, multi-channel, multi-consumer market.
