On the evening of June 6, Nai Xue's tea was heard through the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and updated its prospectus, which means that Nai Xue's tea is one step closer to the goal of "the first share of the new tea drink", according to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

According to people familiar with the matter, Nai Xue's tea plans to raise 3.9 billion Hong Kong dollars this time, and it is estimated that the pre-listing promotion will begin as soon as next week.

Through this IPO, Naixue is expected to add 1000 stores.

According to public data, Nai Xue's tea was founded in 2015 by Peng Xin and her husband Zhao Lin. At the beginning, it won the hearts of young women between the ages of 20 and 35 in the form of "tea + soft European bag".

Nai Xue's tea is headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, under the Shenzhen Pindao Food and Beverage Management Co., Ltd., the first store opened in Shenzhen in November 2015.

According to SkyEye check information, Naixue's tea has so far completed five rounds of financing, of which after the C round of financing at the beginning of this year, Naixue's tea was valued at nearly $2 billion (about 13 billion yuan).

In stores, as of May 31, 2021, the number of tea stores in Nai Xue has increased to 556, of which more than 90% are in first-and second-tier cities.

It is worth noting that at the beginning of this year, Naixue's tea attracted a great deal of attention after it submitted its prospectus on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

According to the previous prospectus, in the first three quarters of 2020, Naixue's tea business income was 2.11 billion yuan and a loss of 27.51 million yuan, while in 2018 and 2019 it lost 69.73 million yuan and 39.68 million yuan respectively. People in the industry pointed out that Naxue's long-term loss reflects the hidden dangers brought about by its rapid expansion.

According to the latest prospectus, the income in 2020 was 3.057 billion yuan, and the net loss expanded to 203 million yuan, but in 2020, Nai Xue's tea recorded an adjusted net profit of 16.643 million yuan, turning a loss into a profit.

Nai Xue's tea said: the main reason for the major losses in the past is that the company continues to rapidly expand its business size and expand its tea shop network.

Prior to this, the decline in sales at Naixue's tea store was due to the company's continued opening of new tea stores, and the increase in the number of customers and the dispersion of orders in existing tea shops, as well as affected by epidemic factors, but by the second half of 2020, its same-store profit margin has returned to 17.3%.

For the plan to open a new tea shop in Nai Xue in 2021 and 2022, Nai Xue's tea estimates that the planned investment cost of opening a new tea shop in Nai Xue during this period is about 424 million yuan and 486 million yuan respectively.

In fact, with regard to the plans for 2021 and 2022, Naxue Tea has previously said that it plans to open about 300 and 350 tea shops in first-tier cities and new first-tier cities respectively in 2021 and 2022, of which about 70% will be planned to be Naxue PRO tea shops. In addition, for 2021, Naxue Tea hopes to open about 200 Naxue PRO.

As a new store model, Nai Xue's tea has a new look in store design and products, and has launched seven new types of coffee in terms of products, mainly focusing on boutique coffee.

Coffee beans are also made from Arabica, which is professionally matched by the master team. Although Naxue launched a coffee milk tea-frozen top mandarin duck at the end of 2018, the PRO store defines coffee as daily boutique coffee, highlighting the quality of coffee and its professionalism at the coffee level.

In terms of the tea PRO store, since the first PRO store was opened last year, the PRO store has become the main force of the new tea store. At present, Naixue's tea has introduced a flower-drawing robot in the PRO store. The robot can complete the whole process from coffee making to flower-drawing in 90 seconds, and can continuously output about 300 to 500 cups of high-quality flower coffee every day.

According to relevant statistics, as of the last practical date, Nai Xue's tea has 60 Nai Xue PRO tea shops in major cities in China.
