What were you doing when you were 12? They started a coffee company!
I don't know if you have any impression. A few years ago, a 12-year-old girl from Hong Kong, Ye Yingyi, wanted to learn a language better and hoped that children from all over the world could have a platform to communicate with each other and learn each other's mother tongue. so she developed an app that allows children from all over the world to learn another language through video phone communication, and set up a company of her own.
This year, three 12-year-old boys from Australia, Arlee, Rocco and Cristiano, also made efforts to set up a coffee company called ARC. From the company logo to the quality control of raw beans to baking, bagging, recording and sales, the three boys have a clear division of labor and make every project the best through their own advantages.

At first, it was just a holiday assignment assigned by the school. I hope students can complete a creative thing in the form of a team during the holiday. At first, they didn't plan to start a company, but just went to a local coffee roasting company to relax and stop by for lunch nearby.
In the meantime, Arlee's father suggested that you should try to start a business. So the three little boys began to come up with all kinds of creative ideas, and after discussing them together, they decided to co-start their own coffee company, ARC Inc.

They contacted the coffee roasting company they visited, hoping to learn more comprehensive professional coffee knowledge (including coffee beans, coffee roasting, coffee extraction, etc.) and become partners.
After learning a certain foundation, the three of them began to work together, including the production and operation of Arlee coffee beans, Rocco is responsible for creativity and design, Cristiano is responsible for supervising and planning sales.
After they began to use their own coffee knowledge and cup tests to determine the flavor characteristics of each coffee bean, they pieced together an Italian coffee bean-ARC Reserve, which belongs to their company.

The blend uses three coffee beans from different regions, Arlee chose Brazil, Rocco chose Australia (yes, coffee beans are also grown in the eastern part of Australia, but not much), and Cristiano chose Costa Rica.
Finally, the coffee is mixed to show a strong, balanced flavor, with a clear sense of cocoa and caramel. From bean selection to blending to flavor determination, this coffee bean not only represents their company, but also shows the Australian love and pursuit of coffee.

Arlee said: this is a very fulfilling process, we learned to roast coffee beans to ensure and stabilize the quality of coffee, and then in the process of selling coffee beans, we also learned more communication skills.
After determining the baking and blending plan, they produced the first batch of Italian coffee beans. As there was no source of customers at the time of the establishment of the company, they left some of the packaged coffee beans for sale in the baking company's stores, and some of them were brought back to their own homes, intending to sell them to nearby neighbors through door-to-door sales.

After some efforts, they successfully sold the first batch of coffee beans and spent 5 minutes celebrating! They found the whole sales process very interesting, met many different types of customers, and learned some of the market customers' ideas and suggestions on coffee. They also have a further plan for this-to sell to cafes.
But they know that selling coffee beans directly may not get the attention of cafes, so they plan to launch a charity campaign. Working with a local children's charity, they said they would donate 5% of the net income of each bag of coffee beans to its children's foundation. Then made sales flyers, so that consumers, cafes can have a better understanding of their company.

Rocco, who proposed the plan, said: I think it is important to be grateful and help others. There are many children who are not as lucky as we are, so we hope that by selling coffee beans, more children can enjoy life at this age instead of worrying about the future.
The head of the company that helped ARC Bake said: they are proud to help these kids develop their own brands and companies and have come up with an unexpected way to give back to society. At present, they have not only developed new brands, but also planned different coffee bean sales activities. Through this cooperation, we hope to encourage more people of different ages to show their creativity and create more unlimited possibilities.

"to buy our coffee is to invest in our business," Arlee said. This support will enable us to grow and learn many important life skills as well as the day-to-day operation of the business. Running this coffee company is just the first step. I (Arlee) hope to become a medical examiner in the future, and Rocco hopes to become a world-famous rock climber in the future. I hope we can make money now and realize our dreams better.
Children's world is always so wild, perhaps for many adults is a "fantasy" thing. But the world will not run in textbooks, and if children have the opportunity to acquire and use this knowledge, it will be more useful than any tutorial or a chapter in the textbook. Age has never been an obstacle to understanding the world.

Sometimes children know what they want better than adults, because it is pure. In the face of their own dreams, in fact, like these children, simple, pure, maybe there will be a different harvest.
I hope that after reading this article, all of you who used to be children can have a happy and fulfilling life and realize their dreams.
