Drink instant coffee! Is it healthier than drinking decaf?!
Caffeinated caffeinated caffeine is a good thing as long as you take it in moderation!
Although coffee has been accepted and loved by more and more people, many people still think that drinking coffee is an unhealthy thing. The caffeine contained in coffee is a kind of caffeine that can stimulate the central nerve to excite the sympathetic nerve and further stimulate the heart contraction, resulting in rapid heartbeat, palpitation and so on.

So every day we can always hear family / friends advise: it's no good to drink so much caffeine! There are also many friends who listen to advice but want to drink coffee and turn their goals to decaf.
Can decaf slow down the heartbeat and palpitation after drinking coffee? Obviously, this effect is not obvious. Decaffeinated coffee although low caffeine, but not completely without caffeine ~ if the body is sensitive to caffeine, low caffeine can also cause physical discomfort.
Peter M Kistler, MD, professor and head of arrhythmia research at Alfred University, told the 71st annual scientific meeting of the American College of Cardiology in March that drinking a moderate amount of coffee every day can reduce the risk of heart disease and arrhythmias.
Peter M Kistler said: the team's subjects came from data from UK BioBank, a large prospective database. They studied the effects of coffee consumption on heart rhythm based on the amount of coffee consumed when patients were enrolled. Data were compared between 382500 adults without cardiovascular disease (an average of 57-year-old adults) and 34279 adults with some kind of cardiovascular disease.
In the end, the study found that subjects who did not have cardiovascular disease and drank two or three cups of coffee a day had the lowest risk of developing a heart and the lowest risk of stroke or death from vascular disease.
Those who had cardiovascular disease and drank coffee had a lower risk of death than those who drank two or three cups of coffee a day compared with those who did not drink coffee. At the same time, the team also found that these patients did not increase the risk of heart rate problems, including atrial fibrillation / flutter, when drinking any amount of coffee.

It's no good to have a cup like that.
In addition to studies that caffeine can reduce the risk of heart disease and arrhythmias, another medical study shows that drinking coffee with tea can double the prevention of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases such as stroke and dementia.
The study was published in 2021 in the journal Plos Medicine (Public Library of Science Medicine). Since 2006, the team has been studying 365682 participants from the UK Biobank between the ages of 50 and 74 and have been followed up until 2020.

The researchers used the COX proportional hazard model to estimate the association between coffee / tea consumption and stroke and dementia, which was adjusted based on participants' weight, physical activity, alcohol status, smoking status, dietary patterns, sugary beverage intake, and other participants' own disease / disease risk.
During the 11.4-year study, 5079 participants developed dementia and 10053 had strokes. The analysis showed that participants who drank two to three cups of coffee / tea a day had a 32 per cent lower risk of stroke and 28 per cent lower risk of dementia than those who did not drink coffee or tea. (this analysis is based on drinking only coffee / tea.)

Compared with those who did not drink coffee or tea, participants who drank 0.5 to 1 cup + 2-3 cups of tea a day reduced their risk of post-stroke dementia by 50%, while those who drank 0.5-1 cup of coffee + 4 or more cups of tea a day reduced their risk of dementia by 30%. (this analysis is based on drinking both coffee and tea.)
After excluding other factors, the researchers found that participants who drank both coffee and tea had an 11% lower risk of ischemic stroke and an 18% lower risk of vascular dementia (excluding dementia caused by Alzheimer's disease) compared with participants who drank only coffee / tea.
The study also mentioned that in the case of dementia:
Compared with drinking instant coffee, drinking freshly ground coffee reduced the risk of vascular dementia and Alzheimer's disease by 18% and 23%, respectively.
Compared with decaf, drinking instant coffee reduced the risk of vascular dementia and Alzheimer's disease by 16% and 19%, respectively.
Compared with decaf, drinking freshly ground coffee reduced the risk of vascular dementia and Alzheimer's disease by 26% and 33%, respectively.
Therefore, when choosing coffee, drinking freshly ground coffee is better than drinking instant coffee, and drinking instant coffee is better than drinking decaf.

Cardiovascular disease studies also show that caffeinated freshly ground coffee drinks caffeinated instant coffee in moderation every day compared to non-caffeinated coffee. Can effectively reduce the risk of arrhythmia, heart artery blockage, stroke or heart failure. Decaf does not play a positive role in preventing arrhythmias, but it can reduce the incidence of cardiovascular diseases other than heart failure.
The coffee mentioned above refers to the coffee itself, that is, coffee without any sugar, milk and other ingredients. No matter what kind of coffee bean it is, it has more than 100 bioactive compounds, which can help reduce antioxidants and inflammation in the body.
Coffee itself is healthy, and most of the time it is considered unhealthy because of the existence of milk / cream and sugar. Excessive intake of foods containing these two substances will increase the risk of obesity and increase cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.

Therefore, it is not coffee that is unhealthy, and it is not necessarily caffeine that makes the body uncomfortable. Of course, we don't rule out friends who are really sensitive to caffeine. If it is due to caffeine sensitivity caused by physical discomfort, then all coffee is not recommended ~ you can switch to tea (except milk tea)! Tea itself also has anti-oxidation, anti-aging and anti-inflammatory effects.
