Introduction to Rolani Estate, 2024 Best Panama BOP Water Wash Champion
Panamanian coffee is well known in the global coffee market. In addition to having a well-known rose summer variety, Panamanian Coffee Association (SCAP) is also inseparable from the Panamanian Coffee Association (SCAP), which designed and organized BOP (Best Of Panama is also known as the Best Panama).
Panama Panama
Since the launch of the first BOP in 1996, high-quality coffee has been sold every year, and then sold at high prices at auctions, making Panamanian producers have more contact with the international community and become famous. In 2005, the rose summer stood out with its excellent flavor and achievements, and the rose summer variety has become famous ever since.
The cultivation of high-quality coffee is inseparable from the unique geographical environment of Panama, which is located in the southernmost part of Central America, near the equator, with undulating terrain and vertical and horizontal valleys, in addition to the plains along the coast, it is mostly mountainous, and has rich forests, river resources and many volcanoes.
The country has a tropical maritime climate, humid during the day and cool at night, with an annual average temperature of 23 ℃-27 ℃, an annual average rainfall of 1500-2500 mm, and a complex and changeable microclimate under the influence of geographical environment, which give coffee trees ideal planting conditions.
Coffee producing area
Coffee producing areas are mainly in Chiriki province (Chiriqu í), which are divided into Boquete, Volcan-Candela and Renacimiento, all of which are located in the country's Baru volcano Volc á n Baru, Erbaye volcano El Valle and Rajaguada volcano Le Yeguada.
Pokuit has excellent conditions for growing coffee, which is grown at an altitude of 1200-2000 meters above sea level, where the temperature is between 11 ℃-27 ℃ and will not be too cold or too hot. At the same time, a large temperature difference can make the coffee fruit grow slowly and develop flavor, with the right amount of rainfall, fertile volcanic soil, plenty of sunshine and special local microclimate, so that the producing area can produce high-quality coffee.
Pokuit can be said to be the most famous coffee producing area in Panama, because it has many well-known estates, such as Emerald Manor, Duncan Manor and Arida Manor, as well as many up-and-coming estates in recent years, such as Abou Manor and Lorani Manor. In the 2024 Best Panama (BOP), Arida Manor won the first place in the Rose Summer Sunshine Group, while the Rose Summer Water washing Group won the first place with a high score of 95.5 from a rising star, Lorani Manor.
Lorani Manor (Finca Lorayne)
Lorani Manor, owned by Adaura coffee Coffee, is located in the Pokuit producing area of Panama. It is located on the hillside of the Baru volcano, between 1600 and 1700 meters above sea level, founded by Marcus. At present, the estate mainly grows Kaddura, iron pickup and Rosa.
Landowner Marcus founded Adaura coffee to pay homage to his grandparents Adalberto and Aura Rosas. In addition, Marcus develops in many aspects, not only as a coffee grower and producer, but also as a baker, cup tester, barista and a competitor, and gives his lessons back to the manor.
