A netizen posted a video on TikToksaying that he had found a lot of plastic fragments in a caramel Frappuccino bought by Starbucks, the Daily Mail reported.

Here's what happened. The female blogger, who doesn't usually patronize Starbucks, suddenly had a craving for caramel Frappuccino that day, so she went to a nearby store to buy a cup and took it home.

When she was ready to drink, she noticed that the color and texture of the caramel Frappuccino did not look right. This made her a little worried about the quality of the drink, so she poured the whole drink into the filter and saw a lot of white particles in the scattered smoothies.

She picked out one of them and found that it was a sharp, hard piece of white plastic, and there were many similar fragments in this drink!

The customer used a straw to pick out the fragments she saw and put them on a napkin, about dozens of hard plastic sheets of different sizes and sharp edges. She said that the fragments were similar to the color of the drink and were not easy to identify, but she did not expect to be able to pick out so many from smoothies.

After picking it manually, the customer poured water into the filter, washed away the foam and smoothies and found that there were still some plastic foreign bodies of the same material at the bottom of the container. According to rough statistics, there are nearly 30 pieces of white plastic in this caramel Frappuccino.

In response, the customer said that after she found something unusual and filmed a video of herself picking out plastic fragments, she contacted the store to report the situation. The store manager found out and offered to make another drink, but she didn't want to go back to the store to pick up the remade drinks. so she asked the store for a refund.

However, the customer was greatly puzzled that the Starbucks she visited that day was not busy, and the clerk should not have made such a big mistake in making drinks because of her busyness. Netizens who work as baristas also say they don't understand. "I don't know why this happened."
