Taiwan drinks 2.1 billion cups of freshly brewed coffee every year
According to statistics from the Customs Department of Taiwan's Ministry of Finance, Taiwan's coffee bean imports have nearly doubled in five years, which is equivalent to 2.17 billion cups of freshly brewed coffee consumed by Taiwanese every year, that is, 94.3 cups per person per year.

The total value of imported products soared from NT $985 million to NT $2.23 billion, a sharp increase of 2.2 times.
