Meet the teacher through Weibo
After graduating from Heyuan High School in his hometown two years ago, Liao Yuede had only a simple understanding of coffee. Later, he accidentally met Zhang Yu-en, a Taiwanese with more than 10 years of experience in the coffee industry on Weibo. At that time, Zhang Yuen had already opened a cafe in Xiaolan Town. Then Liao Yuede came to Zhang Yuen's cafe and began to learn how to cook coffee. It was also during this period that Liao Yuede came into contact with and learned to siphon coffee brewing. Siphon brewing coffee is troublesome and difficult to make, and it is also rare in Guangdong Province. But when it is done, the aroma and taste of the coffee are good. "
After more than a year of study, Liao Yuede began to participate in various competitions in China with the support of his mentor Zhang Yuen. On June 20 this year, the final of the second "Chinese Pu'er Coffee Cup" World siphon Pot Competition was held in Beijing. After intense competition, Liao Yuede successfully won the national championship and became the only player to represent China in the World siphon Pot Competition. On September 25th, the 2014 World siphon Pot Competition ended in Tokyo, Japan, and Liao Yuede won the fifth place. Liao Yuede said that every time he participates in a competition, he gains a lot and can exercise himself very well.
The competition needs the support of the team.
"every time we take part in the competition, there must be corresponding personnel to help clean the utensils and carry things." 'at present, they have formed a complete team, 'Mr. Liao said. "when we went to Japan to take part in the competition, we brought several boxes there." Liao Yuede said that the effect of brewing coffee in different cups is different. The utensils they use are professional, and some of them can withstand temperatures of 500 degrees Celsius. Liao Yuede showed to Nandu reporters the different effects of boiling coffee and iced coffee. The coffee in a goblet looks like red wine. After the entrance, it will feel slightly bitter and sour, while a sip of pure water will have a fragrance.
"I didn't get a good score in the college entrance examination, so I wanted to find a job." 'at that time, the coffee industry was an emerging industry in China, and it didn't have much success at first, 'Mr. Liao said. "every time I go home, my parents ask me what I do (work). Now I have made some achievements, and my parents have changed from initial opposition to approval and support."
