The coffee bean variety bourbon pointed bean is very popular.
In addition to round beans, bourbon also has pointed beans. In 181○, coffee farmer Leroy of Bourbon Island found that some coffee trees on the estate had become smaller and produced pointed beans, which were obviously different from Bourbon round beans. Confirmed by botanists as a bourbon variety, commonly known as "bourbon pointed bean" (BourbonPointLl), has become a legendary "drink good sleep" delicious coffee, it is said that the French writer Balzac likes this bean best. It was not until the 20th century that scientists discovered that the coffee content of bourbon pointed beans was only half that of the average Arabica, but whether it was caused by environmental factors that caused bourbon to abrupt into a low-caffeinated bourbon tip, or the cross between round bourbon and the island's native brown fruit decaf coffee tree, has not yet been determined.
However, the variety bourbon was weak and susceptible to disease, blossoming and bearing less, so it was abandoned and almost extinct in the rain, which was not welcomed by farmers until the successful restoration of ⊙⊙ in 1999-02, thanks to the efforts of France and Japan, has become the most expensive coffee today (see Chapter 4 of this book for details). On the tiny island of Bourbon, during the rush to plant coffee trees in the 18th and 19th centuries, three Arabica varieties appeared, namely, native brown coffee, bourbon round body and bourbon variety pointed body, among which brown fruit coffee and bourbon pointed body are natural low caffeine. Precious, but these two rare decaf coffees have not been transplanted to other countries, only on the island of Bourbon. Bourbon coffee transplanted to Central and South America and East Africa is bourbon round rather than mutant bourbon pointed.
