According to the special survey on "Tea, Coffee and Leisure Culture" just completed by the Central South Social Research Institute, there are about 1000 teahouses and coffee houses in Wuhan, where people can drink 350 million yuan a year.
The 475 quantitative analysis samples also showed that the respondents' attitude towards spending in teahouses and coffee houses was very clear. 91.6% thought it was a cultural pursuit, 84.2% thought it was a symbol of social taste, 61.1% said it paid attention to cultural taste, 54.7% said frankly that it was one of the places for communication, 51.6% was confident that it was the consumption of enjoying life, 44.2% felt it was the condiment of life, 30.5% thought it was the carrier of spiritual communication, and 28.4% tended to be the fashion of recreation.
