Greece is one of the world's ancient civilizations, located in southern Europe, close to the Mediterranean Sea, sunny, mild climate, fresh air, is a famous tourist destination in Europe. When I came back from my trip to Greece, a friend asked me, what impressed you most about Greece? I said, Greek night coffee.

Before I went to Greece, a Wenzhou businessman who had been doing business in Europe for more than ten years once told me that Greek coffee was much more harmful than Chinese tea. Although they drink coffee in the morning, it is only as a breakfast drink, and coffee in the evening is a Greek scene. I was curious about Greek night coffee. After arriving in Greece, I visited many places from east to west and from north to south, and learned that my friend was right.

Greeks work 6 hours a day, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., go home after work and sleep until 7:00 p.m., then eat something casually, then go to coffee shops to drink coffee and chat.

The Greek night coffee scene, I came to Greece on the first day there was a deep impression. That day, our flight from Rome to Athens was delayed, and we settled down at the Hotel Britannia in Athens after eleven o'clock local time. Because of the time difference, we didn't feel sleepy, so we invited each other for a walk. Great Britain Hotel is right in the centre of town and easy access to the streets. Athens was very busy at this time. The most striking thing was the coffee shops one by one. The coffee tables were placed on the sidewalks on both sides. The shops were full and the tables were full.

Remembering Wenzhou businessman's words, I specially observed that those who drink coffee and chat at night are mainly middle-aged people, and there are not a few elderly people. The Greek tour guide saw me curiously and said,"Why don't we go for a drink?" Coffee and conversation on a good night is a rare treat."

We sat down at a random coffee shop, and the enthusiastic owner immediately served four or five of us a cup of strong pearl coffee. Sipping coffee, the Greek guide told us that Athenians love nightlife, and from eight or nine o'clock in the evening, many people bring their wives and invite friends to coffee shops for coffee.

"They're really dawdling," I said, seeing the guests at the next table still holding onto their half-cups of coffee for hours. The guide smiled and said that in fact, Greek night coffee is just a social form, a cup of coffee can drink for hours. The guide also told us that Greeks generally go to bed at one or two in the middle of the night, get up at seven or eight in the morning, wash carefully, drink a cup of coffee, eat some snacks, and then go to work calmly. Despite having the second-lowest gross domestic product in the European Union, Greeks are still living comfortably.

We did what the Greeks did, drinking coffee for two or three hours. I got up and went back to the hotel. I asked my friend,"How is it?" They said they would come back to Greece one day and drink coffee at night.
