The second China Fushan Cup International barista Championship starts in Hainan

Xinhua Hainan Channel, June 9 (Zhang Xiaohui) on the morning of June 9, the second China Fushan Cup International barista Championship opened ceremoniously in Chengmai, Hainan. 24 national champions from many countries and regions tried their best to compete for the honor of Fushan Cup barista championship. In the Fushan Coffee Culture Center, with the mellow aroma of coffee at the fingertips of baristas, the reporter saw the blending of traditional and modern, and the nearly 100-year history of Fushan coffee culture also showed its own unique charm to the world.
24 national champions from the United States, Colombia, Uganda, Ecuador, Australia, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Singapore, Chinese mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong gathered in Fushan Town, Chengmai County, Hainan Province to compete for the Fushan Cup barista championship. This tournament invited judges from Colombia, Indonesia, South Korea and other countries to compete in a level and style in accordance with international competition standards and adhering to the principle of "fair, just and open". The number of countries participating in this competition, the high level of players and the strong lineup surpassed the first Fushan Coffee Cup International Barista Championship.
At the scene of the event, the reporter saw many foreign friends watching the match. In an exclusive interview with a reporter from Xinhua Hainan Channel, Solomon, a Ugandan government official, said that he was attracted by the pleasant scenery and climate here as soon as he arrived in Chengmai on the evening of the 8th. He liked it very much and accompanied the barista contestant Batte Godfrey from Uganda to participate in the event. He also said that coffee is a new industry in China. Many young people in China like to drink both Chinese tea and coffee. Starbucks and other coffee shops are also very popular in China. I believe that there will be a lot of room for the development of coffee industry in China in the future.
Peng Paul, Commercial Consul of the Consulate General of the Republic of Ecuador in Guangzhou, also listed the guest table to cheer for Ecuadorian athletes. In an interview with reporters, he expressed his love for Hainan and told reporters that Ecuadorian coffee is harvested all the year round, so there are many kinds of coffee in Ecuador. The introduction of Ecuadorian boutique coffee into Hainan also provides new business opportunities for Hainan coffee practitioners.
More than 100 guests from coffee industry associations of the whole country, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and famous Chinese and foreign coffee enterprises were also invited to watch the event.
