Types of Le Caf é coffee
Coffee is as important to Europeans as tea is to Asians. When we say "after dinner", to the French, it is "coffee after dinner". Coffee is indispensable for breakfast or lunch. Nowadays, coffee has long been a favorite drink all over the world. Although it is not very popular in Asia, it is fashionable and popular, and beautiful cafes can be seen everywhere. However, there are not many people who can say that they know about coffee culture. Let's talk about all kinds of knowledge about coffee so that you can taste more the next time you taste it.
The type of coffee
Arabica coffee (small grain coffee) is native to Ethiopia. 3/4 of the world's Arabica is produced here, and its quality is the most popular. It has a low caffeine content (1 to 1 minute 5%) and is mainly grown in South America, Brazil and Colombia. It comes in a variety of varieties: Bourbon Brazilian bourbon coffee beans, Mokka grinding card, Maragogype Cuba Marago Rippi coffee beans, Kenya Java, Guardia coffee.
Robusta coffee was found in the 19th century in Belgium's Congo (present-day Zaire). It can grow at low altitudes, but Arabica cannot. This property is also very interesting from an economic point of view. Native to Central Africa, its output is much higher than Arabica, thus affecting its price. Because of its precocious and anti-parasite characteristics, it has become a highly praised variety. In general, Robusta tastes a little bitter, strong and heavy, with a caffeine content of 6 to 7%. Its varieties are: Niaouli, Kouillou, Congenis, Ind é ni é
Li é rica coffee is made of large berries, but it tastes mediocre. Less and less people grow this variety nowadays, but it is still popular in its producing countries.
Another small well-known variety is Exelsa (or Dewvrei), which is very similar to Robusta and more resistant to drying than Lib é rica. But Arabica and Robusta are the most widely planted.
When buying coffee, pay attention to the variety marked with it. I hope it can help you make a better choice!
