"American Fine Coffee Association"-SCAA
The American Fine Coffee Association (SCAA) is a non-profit trade organization and a widely recognized global leader in coffee knowledge development. It currently has more than 9000 members in more than 40 countries, including member companies and their employees. SCAA members come from all sectors of the boutique coffee industry, including producers, roasters, importers and exporters, retailers, manufacturers, bartenders and some industry professionals. Over the past 30 years, SCAA has been promoting the development of the boutique coffee industry through various efforts, including the formulation and implementation of industry quality standards, research on coffee consumption and coffee production technology, and the provision of education, training and commercial services to its members (see www.scaa.org for details).
