According to Kunming customs statistics, Yunnan coffee exports earned 130 million yuan in 2011, an increase of 49.9% over the same period last year, making it one of the fastest growing characteristic agricultural products in Yunnan Province.
During the 12th five-year Plan period, coffee has been a key characteristic industry in our province. It will focus on the overall goal of "building Yunnan Province into a raw material base for high-quality coffee beans in the world, the largest finishing production base and trade center in the country". Invest 3 billion yuan to build the coffee industry, achieving a total output value of more than 17 billion yuan.
