First, the history of the Fuji Royal FUJIROYAL brand:
In 1932 (Showa 38), the Brazilian government promoted Brazilian coffee beans in Japan for the second time, and opened a cafe called "Brazilian Men" in major cities. There is a coffee shop promoting "Brazilian Men" in Tokyo Ginza. Mr. Takahiko Teramoto, the ancestor of the Fuji royal family, works here as a baker. (in the coffee shop called Ramburu in Ginza, there is a Mr. Kanaguchi who is still baking coffee and is over a hundred years old, who is a close friend with Mr. Yukihiko Teramoto. He is still using the Fuji FUJI roaster made by Mr. Teramoto.) at that time, Mr. Teramoto studied at Keio University and was active in the motor vehicle club because he liked all kinds of machines. He also became interested in bean grinders and roasters while working and studying coffee in the Brazilian Man Cafe. After leaving the "Brazilian Man" Cafe, he set up a coffee machine trading company in the famous Ginza in Tokyo, and then moved the company to Nakamoto, Tokyo, to set up the Fuji Coffee Machinery Institute, which officially became a manufacturer of coffee-related machinery and equipment. Taking advantage of Japan's post-war economic recovery and the massive increase in the number of coffee trading companies, the Fuji FUJI brand has been firmly rooted in the Japanese coffee industry.
In 1955 (Showa 8 years), the West Japan sales Office of Fuji Coffee Machinery in Osaka was independent and set up Fuji Jiaji Trading Co., Ltd. Fuji FUJI, the brother company of Fuji Coffee Machinery in Tokyo, can continue to use this brand, but in order to make a difference, it has registered a new brand "Fuji Royal FUJIROYAL". From then on, a brilliant brand "Fuji Royal FUJIROYAL" was born in the Japanese coffee industry.
In the 1970s, taking advantage of the popularity of coffee, the sales of coffee grinders continued to exceed 1,000 units per month, and production could not keep up.
In the 1980s, many professional coffee shops and coffee companies in Japan began to make extensive use of "Fuji FUJI" brand roasters
In 2004, the Fuji Coffee Machinery Factory in Tokyo was closed because of the sudden death of the fourth-generation president, Mr. Yuji Teramoto, and the "Fuji FUJI" brand had only "Fuji Royal FUJIROYAL".
In 2005, Mr. Fukuji became the fourth-generation president of Fuji Royal, and the name of the company was changed to Fujijiji.
In 2013, Mr. Fukushiro acquired Tokyo Manufacturing Machinery Co., Ltd., founded by Mr. Teramoto of Tokyo as a subsidiary. As a result, Fuji Royal has become an overwhelming share of the Japanese coffee industry and is the oldest manufacturer of coffee machinery and equipment.
