The study involved nearly 1000 patients with colon cancer, and the researchers surveyed their coffee drinking habits during the early stages of the study and a year later. The researchers point out that although this study shows that drinking coffee can help prevent colon cancer recurrence after treatment, other studies are still needed to further verify the results, otherwise no guidance can be given to patients.
