Farmers are confident in growing coffee
Through on-the-spot visit and listening to the explanation of coffee planting management technology, economic benefits and development prospects by the person in charge of the demonstration garden, farmers have enhanced their confidence in coffee planting, and expressed their willingness to excavate planting pits and ponds as soon as possible to complete the planting task.
It is reported that in 2013, the coffee planting task of Yun County was 60,000 mu, involving 10 towns. In order to complete the task of coffee planting of 60,000 mu in time, the county government has transferred technical personnel from the county agricultural bureau and the county coffee industry leading group office to form 10 task forces to go deep into 10 towns respectively to cooperate with the organization and launch of coffee planting, pit excavation and technical services. Focusing on the development objectives and tasks of key industries, the County Agricultural Bureau transferred 10 stations to directly contact the coffee industry in 10 towns, focusing on the publicity of coffee planting policies, training of planting techniques, guidance on transplanting, etc. At present, 567.73 mu of coffee seedlings have been completed in the whole county; 437.08 mu of excavated and replanted pits and ponds, 1806 mu of newly planted pits and ponds; 444.86 tons of fertilizer are in place; 2 tons of pesticides are in place.
