Influenced by Western culture, coffee has become an excellent pick-me-up in a fast-paced urban environment, with cafes on every street corner across the country. With the promotion of portable coffee machines, more and more consumers are trying to grind their own beans and make their own coffee. Two entrepreneurs from Atlanta launched the Hey Joe Cup to provide users outdoors with the freshest coffee.

The Hey joy cup can hold 14 ounces (414ml) of water and brew 14 ounces (414ml) of coffee. The whole cup weighs 0.9lb (408g). Using two vertically stacked systems, the water is poured into the cup first, and then the coffee powder bag is embedded in the middle of the cup. When the button on the cup is clicked, the water is automatically heated for dripping coffee brewing. When pressed once, the coffee is heated to 60 degrees Celsius. Two clicks will heat up to 68 degrees Celsius, while three clicks will make iced coffee.

It will be put into production in July 2014.
