Starbucks Brooklyn, New York, World's Largest Store to Open in 2018

The 20,000-square-foot store, located at 61 Ninth Ave, is scheduled to open in 2018.

It was chosen in the Capital Hill area of Seattle, which is comparable to Brooklyn, New York, with the richest nightlife and more popular cultural stores.

The space, which houses the roasting plant, coffee shop, peripheral product display center and restaurant, is roughly divided into 9 blocks, with real-time coffee information display (information including: the variety of beans currently roasting, background information about this bean, etc.), There are also bulk coffee counters modeled after Starbucks 'first Pike Place store.

In the dining area, Starbucks is partnering with Tom Douglas & Series Pie, a locally renowned restaurant chain.

Although Roastery is part of Starbucks Reserve, its menu is still a lot more advanced than other stores in this category. It offers 37 coffee specials including lattes and cappuccinos. A leaflet inserted into the menu identifies the coffee items currently available in the store, as well as their flavors, and changes them at any time.

CEO Howard Schultz's words about the original intention of opening this Roastery are the best explanation. "In New York, we want to make the 'original heart' bigger and braver."

But Starbucks seems to be a little far away from the initial intention of "providing a third space outside the home and office."
