Two good friends, Chen Jianhan and Huang Zhenlong, set up a "coffee gang" in 2015 to sell all kinds of coffee beans from Australia through an online platform, and their business has now expanded to Malaysia.

Melbourne, Australia has a rich boutique coffee culture. People who travel there will not only taste all kinds of coffee, but also buy coffee beans to brew for their families to taste.

Chen Jianhan (31, left) and Huang Zhenlong (28, right), who were originally engaged in online development and marketing respectively, cherished the ideal of setting up a retail platform to sell coffee beans, so that people could taste quality coffee without having to go abroad.

The Cafebond e-commerce platform, which the two spent a year planning, was set up in May 2015. The company is currently working with 15 top Australian cafes to sell all kinds of coffee beans. Huang Zhenlong revealed that they decided to introduce local coffee after traveling to Melbourne about three years ago and tasting coffee from a local boutique cafe.

Huang Zhenlong said: "most of the well-known coffee brands in Australia are launched by small independent cafes and lack the resources to expand overseas. Therefore, we keep an eye on the market demand and want to make use of online retail so that coffee lovers around the world can access and buy coffee beans of these well-known brands. "

Chen Jianhan hopes to sell coffee beans through the Internet platform to promote cultural exchanges between people. Chen Jianhan said: "when I was a child, I smelled the traditional coffee my father brewed in the morning every day, so coffee has become a part of my life." It also reminds me of setting up a platform to connect different people and cultures with coffee. "

The Coffee Gang has now expanded its business to Malaysia. As for their plans for the future, the two men said confidently that they hoped the company would become the world's largest boutique coffee retailer within five years.
