In the art park of Dahua 1935 in Xi'an, which is full of cultural atmosphere and industrial history, there is a cafe called Green Donkey, which, unlike the petty bourgeoisie atmosphere of most cafes, has wine, stories, flowers and poems, and an unusual entrepreneur. Yesterday, the reporter went into the Green Donkey Cafe to listen to the entrepreneurial story that took place here.
"sell" happy "sell" sunshine
Create slow life in cities
"Donkey Boss", named Jian Spring, was born in 1984. His hometown is in Tianshui, Gansu Province. He graduated from Jiaozuo University in Henan Province. He came to Xi'an in 2012 and worked in state-owned enterprises. He also worked as a copywriter for jewelry, opened a large stall and set up a stall on the floor. Today, he is the owner of Green Donkey Cafe.
Why is he unusual? Because in addition to being a cafe owner, Jian Chuntian is also a public welfare person, comforting children with rare diseases and warming children in the mountains. at the same time, he is also an enthusiast of painting and photography.
Jian Chun told reporters that the first thing the green donkey wants to do is to make money, and the second thing is to hope that the green donkey can become an interesting existence. "on the green donkey, I want to sell not only coffee and ice cream, but also music, happiness, stories and a bunch of sunshine sitting at the door."
The "addition" of public welfare and commerce
In exchange for the "multiplication" of both sides.
The green donkey has a pro bono delivery program-trading toys for ice cream, which is the third thing the green donkey wants to do, love and help. "Children in the city have a lot of toys, which are usually left idle for a while. An old toy can be exchanged for a cup of ice cream in the store, and we give these old toys to children who can't afford them." Jian Chun said that so far they have sent out two batches of toys and will wash and disinfect the toys before they are sent out.
The idea came in June last year, when the green donkey had not yet been born and set up a stall in the spring day to sell ice cream in the refrigerator. A little boy traded a blue balloon for a delicious ice cream. It was the first time he traded ice cream for toys. After opening the shop, Jian Chun came up with another idea: pick up 20 cigarette butts in exchange for a cup of ice cream. Jian Chun said that in this way, not only can children eat free ice cream, but also let them feel the value of their labor by picking up cigarette butts.
There is also a small studio on the second floor of Green Donkey, which holds all kinds of lectures once a week. For example, the "donkey boss" teaches you how to take pictures with your mobile phone, or asks customers in the store to teach you how to write calligraphy. Jian Spring hopes that through the combination of public welfare and business, people who do not understand public welfare can understand public welfare and make public welfare more interesting and fun.
An unusual cafe
Customer's "moments"
Like most entrepreneurs, Jian Chun faces financial pressure in the early stages of starting a business. "if you have no money, borrow from your friends. The most important thing in the world is ideas, and the implementation of ideas is the beginning of everything." He did all the things in the shop, such as the painting on the walls, the painting of stools, the purchase of appliances, and so on.
"the green donkey may not be comparable to the decoration of a brand cafe, but here, the waiter who hands you a glass of lemonade with a smile may be an obstetrician and gynaecologist, or a policeman who will bring you coffee. Dahua's cleaning aunt will also come here from time to time." Jian Chun told reporters that friends often come spontaneously to help in their spare time, and the reward is a cup of coffee or ice cream. "I don't have a definition of green donkey. It's all defined by customers. It can be a living room, a study, or a circle of friends. I hope the green donkey can make people living in the city slow down and feel the joy of life. "
In the course of the interview, customers greeted Jian Chuntian amicably from time to time, and most of them seemed to be regular customers here. Jian Chun told reporters that some regular customers often buy a bouquet of flowers and leave, or when they pass by, they come in and have a glass of water and leave. Everything is in a very natural state, not deliberately.
Transport positive energy
Let life also have "poetry and distance"
"the green donkey's site used to be the separate cylinder chamber of the cotton mill, and many pipes transport energy from here. Now, we have specially set up the green donkey's shop here to continue to transport positive energy for Dahua." Hu Yang, chairman and general manager of Xi'an Qujiang Dahua Culture and Business Management Co., Ltd., told reporters that for entrepreneurs in the early stage of starting a business, such as the green donkey, Dahua gave them a preferential policy of rent deduction, with less income in the early stage, and the rent was settled as a percentage of the turnover of the green donkey, giving entrepreneurs a buffer period to reduce pressure. At the same time, it also provides entrepreneurs with venues, cleaning and other supporting services to facilitate their better development.
He told reporters that the reason why he chose Xi'an to start a business is because he likes the long history and culture here; second, he likes the geographical location and convenient transportation of Xi'an; third, Xi'an has great support for entrepreneurs, and the dream can come true here. He said: "in the future, I also want to open a noodle shop, let customers pay with poetry, so that life is also full of 'poetry and distance'."
