Brew Masters, a social enterprise run by a number of world-class baristas, is the first coffee-themed shared workspace in Hong Kong, providing a platform for young people who want to start a business to pursue a dream that can come true. Nigel, a resident coffee / baker, sends a message to young start-ups that it is not easy to run a pure coffee shop in Hong Kong and must have an indomitable fighting spirit under the Lion Rock. Nigel realized his dream of opening a coffee shop because of his obsession with coffee, and captured a woman who didn't know how to drink coffee because of a cup of professional sour coffee.

Brew Masters is run by four coffee lovers, among whom Nigel Wu Zihao, who is called a teacher, has been in the coffee industry for 17 years and is qualified as a first-class barista and a first-class roaster of the European boutique coffee association. Brew Masters partnered with Playground.work, the first batch of Hong Kong to operate a shared workspace, to create a coffee-themed shared space in the San Po Kong Industrial Building, which not only provides venues, but also provides rental services such as a roaster, bean grinder, espresso machine, etc. "the total value of the coffee machine is 300000 yuan. If you want to start a business, or want to join a friend, or even a barista, it is very difficult to own your own set, through sharing the workspace. We can use it together, and we can communicate and learn from each other. The coffee machine and basic coffee beans charge 200 yuan per hour.

Su Weijing, one of the founders of the post-80s generation, is also an internationally recognized barist. She took courses such as hotel tourism in Australia in 2006. as a result, she fell in love with coffee and stayed in Australia for four years as a barista in a coffee shop. "in the eyes of her parents, being a barista is no different from making a water bar." but in Australia, guests will drink your cup of coffee wholeheartedly. She said that baristas were not respected in Hong Kong. Brew Masters adopted the social enterprise model to promote authentic coffee culture and set up coffee classes with Xieqing Society. She also came up with the idea of setting up a late-night mobile coffee team, hoping to put the edge green back on the right path through coffee, "it is not good to split wine and drink coffee instead to learn a craft".

Nigel, who won the third place as a master of siphon coffee in Hong Kong last year, used to open a coffee shop and saw many young people who did not even know how to distinguish coffee beans. It ended in failure. "after we have a coffee-sharing workspace and we exchange experiences with each other, we will also open coffee skills training courses. When they know that making a cup of professional coffee is only such a simple constraint."

He points out that another difficulty in opening a coffee shop in Hong Kong is the high rent. "I have made a profit in two coffee shops, but they are all because of the double rent under the new lease."

Coffee is not only Nigel's career, but also his life; his dedication to coffee beans won him a happy family. Nigel said with a smile that one day when she ran a coffee shop in Kwai Hing Industrial Building in 2012, a girl ordered an authentic cup of frozen American coffee without sugar milk. Nigel found that she had only had a few sips and came forward to ask what happened. The other person said that the coffee was sour. He thought to himself that he was "another girl who doesn't know how to drink coffee." he explained to her patiently that she had been chatting for five years, and the woman became Mrs. Wu last year.
