"Hello, thank you for your hard work." Then we exchanged business cards cautiously. There was no red tape. We were just surprised to see our arrival. "No wonder I always remember what happened in the afternoon." Emily, the owner of Yaboo Coffee, said anxiously, "I have to bake beans later. It will take at least half an hour to start talking."

An unlikable but clever bird

Of course, Yaboo is not Yahoo (Qimo), it is a homonym for "Raven Port". Crows are smart birds, but they are not always so likeable, and Port means port, so I hope this coffee shop can gather a group of people who are not hypocritical and low-key.

Looking at the whole store, it is a little young and not extravagant. Everyone is quietly thinking about something in their seats and playing on the computer. It feels like an unexpected idea will be created here.

Many celebrities came, but were reminded that it was Zhang Xuan, Li lie, Luo Yijun and other celebrities. "I don't like the feeling of going to special marketing," Emily said. "

Don't like to waste time, do what you want to do.

(the landlady Emily baked the beans and sat down to chat.)

She graduated from private Methodist High School and was admitted to the Department of Psychology at Fu University. her parents had traditional ideas and wanted her to be a good psychologist, but she liked to teach dance in a dance studio. When she was in high school, she never thought of becoming a "coffee man."

She added that although she was a little aggrieved when she was in college, she was angry about things she didn't like, thought she was fit to be an investigator, and worked in a hospital for a short time, but she couldn't bear to face all kinds of complex emotions every day.

She didn't like wasting time, so she slipped to work in the new boutique cafe in Taipei and stayed for eight months. to be honest, business was not good at that time, but she had more opportunities to learn from her spare time.

Ask her how on earth is planning to open a store? "if you don't understand, you keep going to see and learn, and think for yourself!" Emily, who has been a "coffee man" for more than six years, said decisively. I felt that her father's entrepreneurial soul was hidden in her blood.

She makes no secret of being proud of being the "daughter of Taiwan businessmen." after making up her mind, she entered the world of coffee with her sister Tina at the age of 26. After opening the shop for more than half a year, the father didn't know-until today, six years later, parents came to their daughter's shop at 05:00.

Open a store that can't be seen for a few years.

(sister Tina shares her past experiences in interviewing different home styles.)

When it comes to design style, IKEA was popular at that time, and then the Scandinavian style became popular in the industrial style recently. Taiwan has been following the foreign trend all the time, so Emily vows, "it is to open a store that you can't see how many years it has been open!"

My sister Tina, a former family line reporter, learned from the interviewees that "as long as you don't set the style, you won't be confined to the industrial style just because the store is industrial style."

"since the opening of the store, it has gone from a space that has been bred to a feeling of being protected every time I come in, and it has become more and more spiritual." With that, she also admitted that she had recently taken a course on spiritual growth.

From a hater to a practitioner

Does studying psychology in college help to open a shop now? Emily said, "Super many! Many guests came to him to share their problems, and some even became friends. " Her sister Tina described her in this way, although she repeatedly said that she was extreme, rebellious and sociopathic, but only she could be obedient to her guests, especially to the "Olympic guests."

Emily compares himself to a "Hater", which is to find a strong person and hate him, and then find a way to beat him. But a young rebel must be beaten in the face and become his own only if he is beaten.

So what is the rebellion now? Perhaps she has been in the service industry for a long time and has been sharpened more harmoniously. From a hater to a practitioner, she still retains perfectionism that does not allow negative reviews, mocks herself and has a desire for control, and challenges the goals of every stage, from facing guests to baking beans and teaching. Coffee is on its way, kneeling to finish.

Sisters complement each other to achieve today's Raven Port.

The store is run by two sisters and staff together. One likes freedom and doesn't like to be limited. Sister Tina, who defines herself as a cook and public relations, has been feeling depressed and suffocated in the store in the first half of the year, while sister Emily is happy to stay in the store and turn the trivial things she encounters every day into the free romance of a cafe.

Tina finally stressed that today's cafes can not only provide professional coffee, but also have social functions, humanities and design. They often find that many people write their lives into Facebook's dynamic and fictional scripts, but the true stories continue to play out in this cafe in the alley of Daan District.

Postscript: Yabu Coffee has also gone through three waves of transformation.

Emily said that when he first opened the store, the guest would sit casually at casual, but unless the person was also very casual, the guest could not stay. At that time, employees could stand at the bar and work in a coffee-scented place as long as they knew how to operate the coffee machine. This was called romance.

At that time, business was very bad, and the whole store was like a ghost town, and I realized, "at least bring a seat, please!" She reformulates the store rules, and employees who like to go to work and watch the fashion website will leave, and people begin to want to take their guests seriously. This is her second transformation.

Later, another group of people left, and she thought that making coffee could not imitate some movements. "Don't think that you can make coffee just because you can pull flowers. I began to ask everyone if there is a way to understand it. If you are a Barista, you must have a way to show the beans in your hand."

But many coffee people become demons overnight because they want people to know how hard you are. "if you think no one understands your good coffee, you feel lonely and cold." in fact, she hasn't really seen it herself-insisting on some kind of DNA like a "coffee man".
