Different from the hustle and bustle of the coffee shop chain, Braver Cafe, located on Fuxing South Road in North City, is relatively quiet. Many guests communicate in sign language and "order" with finger menus. Luo Jianqiang, the owner who is busy in and out, is deaf. Since the cafe started the year before last, it has trained many loyal customers. Luo Jianqiang says that patiently making a cup of good coffee and letting each guest leave with a smile is his original intention to start his business.

Luo Jianqiang has worked in television stations, Olympic preparations for the hearing impaired, and other units, and almost all of them are engaged in art design. He laughs that when he is old, he does not have as many innovative ideas as young people, so he chooses coffee, which he has loved to drink since junior high school, as his entrepreneurial goal. But the process was not plain sailing. He wanted to find a chain coffee shop and told him that he was deaf, but he was informed that he had failed the review a month later, and without telling him the reason for the veto, he decided to go to class and learn to make coffee on his own.

Luo Jianqiang said that at first he thought it was easy to make coffee, but in the bean baking course, when he found that the teacher heard a crackling sound, he changed the steps of baking beans, because he had to control the temperature, otherwise the beans would go bad, and he was very embarrassed at the moment, because he could not hear them. But the teacher said that he could observe with his eyes, and he had to carefully observe the factors other than sound. He tried for a year and a half and destroyed countless coffee beans before he caught the knack of baking beans.

Take the time to order in sign language

In addition, Luo Jianqiang coffee shop uses the finger menu to order food for a long time. He said that some guests left when they saw him in sign language, while others left because they waited impatiently. Luo also said that once a guest ordered the wrong coffee, he immediately redid it, and the service industry is to serve all the guests.

Hong Shiheng, a regular customer who comes to drink coffee at noon every day, said that the price is cheap and delicious, and there is no need to order verbally, and many people with hearing impairment will come to drink. The environment is relatively quiet and suitable for guests to rest. Yan Shiqi, a loyal customer, said that Luo's coffee is delicious and fragrant, and the service attitude is very good.
