I want to know:

Do you drink coffee because you like its taste, or do you rely on the energy of caffeine?

-do I like coffee beans or cafes?

-what breathing poses can awaken the brain when you are sleepy?

Experiment without coffee for 30 days

Why do you drink coffee? Some people are infatuated with its mellow smell, others like the ritual of freshly ground coffee, but in essence, caffeine stimulates the central nervous system and wakes us up to better focus and start the day.

Caffeine C8H10N4O2 is a xanthine alkaloid compound, a central nervous system stimulant.

Drinking 1-3 cups of coffee a day is my habit and a kind of "ritual". On Fire Man Day, the Jewish Shabbat Dinner (Sabbath Supper) said: how to show the importance of the same thing? Turn it into a ritual.

My understanding is: a sense of ritual represents importance. Make a big and good breakfast every morning, and how important is Virgo's plate to you? How important is it for you to clock in at the gym every day?

Rituals and habits are good things. However, after the habit is formed, such as drinking coffee, it may become dependent, a mindless behavior.

I asked myself: what kind of self-knowledge will you have if you break the habit of repeating it mechanically?

Experience

Let's talk about my experience. I've been exercising for 1-2 hours a day for 30 days.

First week:

When I smelled the landlady's freshly ground coffee in the morning, I was attracted by the taste, but I held back.

When I was sleepy at noon, I used the Breath of 喜悦 breathing method (see picture below). Take a deep breath for 2 minutes and give oxygen to the brain.

Hands forward-hands side up-hands up-hands down (and shout "ha")

China's lunch break tradition makes a lot of sense, and now Silicon Valley technology companies are starting to add Nap Room. Arianna, director of Uber and founder of Huffington Post, has written a book about the importance of sleep.

Have a Zumba or yoga class at 6 or 7 p.m.

At 10:00, I naturally became sleepy and my late sleeping habits were automatically corrected.

Week 2 to week 4:

Because there are more deadlines, you need to stay awake for a long time. Start trying different tea drinks. I have to admit, I need caffeine. This is also the result of this experiment (challenge): know yourself. Occasionally I work in a coffee shop and don't order coffee because I like the atmosphere of the coffee shop, careful decoration and wifi.
