2017 International Coffee Festival, four coffee trends, day night lively debut

Coffee consumption in Asia has continued to rise in recent years, with Taiwan drinking an average of 122cups of coffee a year. According to the statistics of "Accupass activity Wind Ball", there were more than 300 events under the name of "coffee" in 2017, indicating that Taiwanese people are highly interested in "coffee type activities." In response to "International Coffee Day International Coffee Day", the Cafe Culture Committee of the Taiwan Coffee Association and the Taipei City Government held the "2017 Taipei International Coffee Festival" bazaar at the main gate of National Taiwan University from September 30 to October 1, and cooperated with Accupass to hold "Coffee Ambassador" activities. With "Taipei Cafe Age" as the main axis, this event invites shopkeepers to present the four major trends of Taipei coffee from the evolution of coffee flavor: "the traditional guardian of Japanese style in ─ 1990", "the push hand of semantic style in 1990 ─ 2000", "the pioneer of laying the foundation for boutique in 2000 ─ 2010" and "the integrator of the current wave of boutique in 2010 ─". Turn the taste into a language of communication. It is hoped that through the two-day dynamic performance of the bazaar to interact with the public, people will pay attention to and interest in the food culture in life, and have a new understanding of the richness and diversity of Taipei's local coffee culture. We also welcome the three generations of old, middle-aged and young people to join hands to look for the good coffee time in their memory.

The Taipei International Coffee Festival also invited Taipei City and Wen Luoting Coffee shops to jointly launch a series of discount activities in response to the "Taipei International Coffee Festival chain store" project, with more than 200 coffee shops participating in the series. In addition to independent self-baking cafes, there are also large chain cafes. During the two-week event from September 24 to October 8, people can spend and participate in the event at the bazaar or chain stores to get the Coffee Ambassador Commemorative Badge.
