Vietnam did not grow coffee beans at the beginning. It used to be an agricultural country like China. Later, it became a French colony. The French brought coffee beans here. The weather in southern Vietnam was very suitable for growing coffee beans. Since then, Vietnamese people have produced coffee beans and sold them all over the world. Vietnamese people also like to drink coffee very much. They drink coffee almost every day. Coffee shops are everywhere. It has been integrated into their lives, so they can not only drink coffee themselves, but also sell it to others.

Vietnam is rich in Robusta, and its total output has been ranked as "the second largest coffee producer in the world" for many years! Yes... Consecutive!

At the same time, Vietnam's export volume is very large, with 1.59 million tons of coffee exported in the 2016/17 season, almost all of which were exported. (Brazil exported approximately 2.21 million tons in the 2016/17 season.)

The second largest producer country consists of two points. The first Vietnam is located in the coffee production belt and is naturally suitable for coffee cultivation. It ranks second in the world in terms of output and has always been Vietnam's agricultural pillar industry. The second highest yield does not mean the second highest coffee quality. Vietnam grows Robusta seeds, which are easy to grow and resistant to pests. However, what we often call fine coffee now generally belongs to Arabica, so if we say that fine Arabica beans are ranked in the world, Vietnam may not be on the side. However, there are two trends. First, Robusta is also improving its fine coffee beans suitable for direct drinking. Second, Vietnam and Yunnan in China are gradually increasing their production of Arabica beans due to the continuous growth of Arabica bean consumption.
