Coffee powder brewing method Coffee beans after grinding brewing method
Many people like to drink coffee, we often buy roasted coffee beans, when to brew coffee before, and then grind their own beans, you can smell that burst of coffee aroma, so that people who like coffee, mood can be comfortable all day. Now a new study shows that eating unroasted green coffee beans can also lose weight, and it is still a fast and stable weight loss!
Dr Joe Vinson of the University of Scranton and colleagues asked 16 overweight men and women, with an average age of 22 to 46, to eat ground green coffee beans and a placebo without changing their diet and exercise over the course of a 22-week study. The findings were presented at the annual meeting of the American Chemical Society.
Dr. Joe Vinson said his study was conducted every six weeks, with "empty windows" during which participants were not allowed to take any supplements. They are their own control group. Although the participants 'calories were controlled, it was not a diet that did not eat anything, and the calories consumed during the study period were similar, averaging about 2400 calories per day, while the exercise part consumed about 400 calories per day.
Over the course of 22 weeks, the 16 participants lost an average of 17 pounds, ranging from a minimum of 7 pounds to a maximum of about 26 pounds. Overall, the participants lost an average of 10.5 percent weight and 16 percent body fat. People who took a high dose of unroasted green coffee beans also lost more weight, while those who took a placebo did not lose significantly.
Dr. Joe Vinson says he can't say for sure why coffee bean extract helps weight loss, but it's likely the chlorogenic acid in green coffee beans.
Chlorogenic acid is a plant compound that may inhibit glucose absorption and thus help weight loss. But why not baked beans? Because after the coffee beans are roasted, chlorogenic acid is decomposed. So, to lose weight, you can only eat raw coffee beans!
