When it comes to drinking coffee, I like to drink it leisurely at home, and I also like to go to the coffee shop to empty my head and enjoy ^ _ ^

I went to the ucc Coffee Museum on the artificial island of Hong Kong to take a coffee roasting experience course.

The building is said to have been converted from a large tent used at the PORTPIA Expo into a mosque-like building.

When you enter the museum, you can see a coffee shop with a variety of coffees on the menu on the right. Although you hate your heart, you still go to the experience class first!

There are six tables in the lecture hall, facing the lecturer's demonstration table. This is the student's desk (^. ^)

There are filter screens and gas ovens for baking on the table, as well as four samples of coffee beans with different baking times.

At the beginning of the class, teach us how to make coffee.

This time, we brewed two kinds of coffee with filter paper to try it.

Two kinds of coffee beans with different roasting degrees are weighed by the amount of spoon, and the weight is different. What a surprise!

The heavier the degree of roasting, that is, the lighter the coffee beans will be.

I thought I was very knowledgeable about the way I brewed coffee, but I found out after class.

Some places are done according to their own ideas, coldsweats01.gif.

For example, when injecting hot water, although we know to soak the coffee powder a little at first.

But the next step is to inject hot water in three stages.

And in the middle of the coffee powder, like drawing a circle the size of a yen coin, inject a small amount of hot water, I don't know.

It was a good lesson ^ _ ^

And then...

Is the challenge baked (^. ^)

Choose one of the five kinds of raw coffee beans from Brazil, Kilimanjaro and Colombia

I prefer bitter coffee, so I choose Brazilian beans.

Put the raw beans in the strainer and cover them. Heat them 15 cm above the fire. Shake the strainer while stirring, so that the raw beans can be heated evenly throughout the process.

I prefer deep-roasted coffee, so it took me a long time

Although the hand is very sore, but after about 10 minutes the sound of raw beans began to burst, suddenly found it interesting (^. ^)

After baking to the desired color, move the coffee beans to another strainer. In order to avoid the remaining temperature and let the coffee beans continue to bake, use a fan to help dissipate the heat.

It is a great satisfaction that the color of the finished product is so beautiful.

Make a comparison

These are raw beans before baking.

After baking

The smell of coffee also seems to come from the photo. What a beautiful color. ^)

When the coffee beans are completely cooled and stable, they can be put in a bag and taken home.

Your own exclusive coffee beans with name and baking date are finished!

I thought it would be ready to drink right away, but I was told that I needed to keep 2muri for 3 days before I could drink it.

You can enjoy it at home next week.

From now on, I'm looking forward to confident.gif.

Besides the baking experience, the Coffee Museum also has many other interesting courses.

There are also many coffee-related displays in the museum, and the exhibition is also very interesting.

I hope to have the opportunity to introduce more wink.gif to you.
