Description: Nyungwe washing station is located in Nyamasheke, Rwanda, across the southeast side of Lake Kivu in the same name area. In the last year, the station has had many improvements, including new milling equipment that enables them to better work with the approximately 2000 small farmers in the area (they are operating at full capacity for the first time since the plant was built in 2006). Nutrient-rich soil, high altitude and mild climate make this area (and most of the surrounding areas) ideal for growing coffee. The station is located at an altitude of 1700 meters and coffee cultivation is up to 1850 meters.

Nyungwe may seem a bit restrained in the dry scent. Despite the clean sweetness that emanates from the coffee powder, Nyungwe retains the "gorgeous" side of the brewing cup. The moist aroma allows you to smell buttery caramel wafting from the steam, as well as vanilla, peach and floral notes.
