Ichamama Water washing treatment Plant (Wetmill) is one of nine water washing treatment plants belonging to Othaya Farmers' Cooperative (Othaya Farmers' Cooperative Society). The plant has 1100 members, including more than 300 women. When Othaya Farmers' Cooperative was founded in 1956, it had 256 members. Today, it is the largest coffee farmers' cooperative in Kenya, with about 14000 members.
