Flavor essay: strong aromas of flowers, strawberries and peaches. Medium drupe aromas. Orange, green kiwi fruit acidity; golden kiwi fruit aroma! Clear, loud, bright and sour.

The Rukira Water washing treatment Plant (Wetmill) is one of nine washing treatment plants belonging to the Osaya Farmers' Cooperative (Othaya Farmers' Cooperative Society). The plant has 1100 members, including more than 300 women. When Othaya Farmers' Cooperative was founded in 1956, it had 256 members. Today, it is the largest coffee farmers' cooperative in Kenya, with about 14000 members.

2014 was a brilliant year for the Lucilla processing Plant, which won the third and fifth places in the East African Coffee Grand Prix (EAFCA Taste of Harvest, ToH), the most important boutique coffee raw bean competition in Africa. Among them, Lucilla's AB ranking is higher than its AA ranking, winning the third place. I have always thought that in the grading of raw coffee beans in Kenya, the grading system based on the size of beans may not necessarily reflect the quality of the cup to measure the flavor, perhaps this is also a phenomenon worth observing. What's more, the price of raw coffee beans of AB grade in the same processing plant is often much cheaper than that of AA grade in the same season.

We have been paying close attention to this bean since the ToH results were announced. AA level and AB level also appear in the purchase list of foreign cooperative manufacturers, of course, we pay special attention to the AB level in front of the ranking, cup test sample results, it is true that AB is better, there is no hesitation. Sure enough, fortunately, the move was fast enough, AB was robbed all at once, and AA continued to have some running in the market.
