"Yunnan Coffee Cup China Brewing Competition" is currently the highest-level competition in China's coffee industry, sponsored by Yunnan Agricultural and Rural Department and hosted by China Coffee Alliance, and has been successfully held for 4 times. This year, for the first time, vocational colleges have added the southern and northern divisions of the competition.

Li Weiwei, secretary of the party branch of the Department of Tourism and Culture of Guangzhou Tourism Business Vocational School, said that the southern competition lasted a total of three days. The preliminary round brought together more than 80 students from about 20 vocational colleges in Zhejiang, Fujian, Macao and Guangdong. They will take part in the competition of designated cooking and optional cooking, from which 17 contestants will be selected to participate in the finals of the Southern Division. The top three contestants who finally stand out in the finals of the Southern Division will take part in the finals of the Yunnan Coffee Cup China Cooking Competition and compete for the final championship with contestants from 14 regions across the country.

It is worth mentioning that in the designated brewing stage, the contestants will choose the Yunnan coffee bean competition. Li Weiwei said that China mainly has three coffee-producing areas: Hainan, Taiwan and Yunnan, among which Yunnan produces the most coffee beans and the best.
