Suspect Peng and others first bought back a large number of second-hand mobile phones and computers, and numbered each device to facilitate the distinction between management and operation. After that, using these mobile phones to register WeChat accounts, using photos of good-looking young women as avatars, the suspects of the "Advertising Powder Department" post selfies and videos on these WeChat moments every day to depict the image of a beautiful, sunny and public-spirited young woman. At the same time, these WeChat accounts are posted to some official accounts to advertise, and the whole process lasts about 15 days. This is the so-called "maintenance account". Every day, through the "adopted account" of the suspect, Wechat users will actively request to be added as friends. When the number reaches about 200 Murray 500, the first step of the fraud "trapping the world" is completed. After that, 13 episodes of "emotional drama" were staged according to the "script" to deceive the victim.

Revealing the Secret: thirteen consecutive "emotional" plays

The third episode: volunteers. The suspect said in his moments that he was doing volunteer work. If a victim asks where he works as a volunteer, the suspect will use "talkative skills" to reply that he is in a park in Guangzhou. The main purpose is to show his love and win the favor of the victims.

Episode four: quarrel. The suspect posted a quarrel on moments, and when a victim asked what was going on, the suspect replied with a verbal version that he quarreled with his stepmother and was beaten by his father, mainly to win the sympathy of the victim.

Episode 5: drinking. In the evening, the suspect will post to his moments that he is drinking alone, and when a victim asks about the situation, the suspect replies that he is in a bad mood in order to further win the sympathy of the victim.

Episode six: getting sick. The suspect sent an injection to his moments to buy a tonic. When asked by the victim, the suspect would reply that he drank too much and caught a cold. He also said that he was in a bad mood and disturbed the other party yesterday. Buying a tonic meant that he would go home to visit his grandfather tomorrow, mainly to fly back to Yunnan to see his grandfather.

Episode 7: look at Grandpa. In the evening, the suspect will post on moments that he has flown back to his hometown in Yunnan. When asked by the victim, he said that he went home to see his grandfather, mainly because he felt that his grandfather's life was not easy and continued to win the sympathy of the victim.

Episode 8: filial piety. The suspect sent a friend circle to play in the mountain, and when asked by the victim, he used words to say that he took his grandfather to Tengchong hot spring in Yunnan, which made people feel very filial and won the favor of the victim again.

Episode 9, episode 10: selling coffee. From these two episodes, entering the most exciting part of the fraud plot, the suspect began to defraud the victim, so its content was more or less the same. they all sent small videos to moments to show Yunnan coffee gardens and coffee beans. when the victim asked about the coffee, the suspect said it was coffee grown by her grandfather in Yunnan and boasted about the quality. The suspect will sell with the opportunity, and if the victim does not show his intention to buy, the suspect will play a lot of emotional cards for reasons such as grandpa's hard work, inducing or begging the victim to buy, because most of the victims have already communicated with the suspect for many days. at this time, the vigilance has been greatly reduced, some victims can not stand the suspect's acting cute and soft and hard bubble, some victims are completely sympathetic and pay to buy. After receiving the victim's money, the suspect will "solemnly" place an order through an APP called "A9", with a special suspect in the "after-sales department" responsible for registration and delivery.

Episode 11: go back to Guangzhou. The suspect sent a packet of coffee to his moments, saying that he was going to fly back to Guangzhou, and then asked the victims who were not interested in coffee to take it by the way to look for potential deceivers again.

Episode 12: teaching support. The suspect said in his moments that he went to the suburbs of Guangzhou to teach, mainly to gain the appreciation of the victim and further paralyze the victim.

Episode 13: birthday red packet. The suspect posted a moments in which the aunt of the fictional character sent a transfer photo of a birthday red envelope through Wechat, and then sent a group of friends to call her birthday, asking her friends for 520 yuan and 1314 yuan red envelopes.

Post-biography: destroy evidence, change identity and then cheat

Through 13 days of continuous operation, a "sales department" suspect will usually defraud thousands of yuan to tens of thousands of yuan. On the 14th day, they will return the "work phone" to the team leader, who will be responsible for continuing to "maintain" the Wechat account for a few days. In fact, it is to observe whether the victim is aware of being cheated, and if he has detected the fraud, immediately block, delete and cut off communication; if not, continue to ask for red envelopes until the other party loses patience and stops contacting him.

After that, the team leader handed the phone to the "sales manager" and collected all the stolen money; then the suspect in the "Advertising Powder Department" was responsible for deleting the chat records, cleaning up the contents of the moments, and applying for unblocking the WeChat account whose account was blocked by the complaint. and then carry on the "maintenance account" again. The suspects of the "sales department" will receive a new batch of WeChat accounts that have been successfully "maintained", and the suspects will once again carry out fraud in accordance with the above-mentioned "speech art" arrangement.

Prosecutor: don't "look at your face" on the Internet to judge people by their appearance

The prosecutor of the Huadu District Procuratorate in Guangzhou said that the fraud methods used by the suspects in this case had neither "high-tech content" nor "high IQ", but they clung to the human weakness of many people who are used to judging people by their appearance in the "face-seeing era". Compared with other telecom network fraud activities, this case has two remarkable characteristics: first, when contacting the victim at the beginning, he is not eager to mention the matter of money, but gradually leads people to be deceived by laying the groundwork. Second, the amount of money defrauded by a single victim is not large, and even if the vast majority of the victims have been deceived, they still feel that the amount is small and admit that they are unlucky, and even though there are as many as 1000 victims in this case, they take the initiative to report the case to the public security organs. As a result, the criminal suspect has been cheating calmly and successfully for more than half a year, which is extremely confusing, deceptive and extremely harmful to the society.
