The oatmeal milk trend doesn't seem to have gone out of fashion for a while. CNBC reported that Starbucks, a coffee chain, began selling this dairy-free alternative milk in Wujiamen on the 12th, becoming the latest example of oatmeal milk becoming more and more popular.

Oatly opened its first production plant in the United States this spring to increase supply. Other beverage brands have also jumped on the bandwagon, such as PepsiCo, the parent company of Quaker oatmeal, which launched its oatmeal milk line Quaker Oats in November.

Starbucks began selling oatmeal milk in European stores early last year, but with the growth of this trend, it has also brought oatmeal milk to the US market. However, there are only five Starbucks stores selling oatmeal milk in Seattle, San Francisco and New York.

Starbucks always launches new drinks, such as nitrogen cold extract coffee, in more upscale stores before selling them in stores around the world.
