When did you start growing coffee?
"To enrich my lifestyle, I decided to open a farm in my hometown of Chiriki. Growing up not far from coffee farms, I decided to create a high-quality farm dedicated to growing premium Arabica coffee. So far so good. Last year we built a second house for our employees. Our employees, whether full-time or seasonal, live in houses with tiled floors, running water, separate showers and toilets. Where possible, we also offer cable television for home entertainment. In addition to sending all workers 'children to regular schools every day and conducting bimonthly medical examinations, we have also opened a school on the farm for adults who have not received basic education. Our in-house school runs through eighth grade. The farm subsidizes 60 percent of the cost of teachers and supplies."
