FINCA CHELI

Nelson Ramirez (Nelson Ramirez) bought the farm the same day his second son was born in 2009 and named it after his grandmother. The farm is located in the Montesilos area of the famous Santa Barbara Mountains and is famous for its unique microclimate. High elevations, cold nights, volcanic soil and high humidity from nearby Lake Joyua provide special conditions for coffee to grow. Coffee from this mountain usually shows bright citrus, blackcurrant and very complex qualities.

Nelson is currently building a solar dryer and plans to ferment 100% of his washed land. He also designed a complete tracking system to record what happened to each batch of cherries from cherries picked to coffee beans roasted into cups.

Variety: bourbon Kaduai
