AFASA Seriema

Our Brazilian range of coffee comes from a producers' association made up of 62 small coffee growers in the Campos das Vertentes region of southern Minas Gerais.

Every year we visit AFASA (Associacao dos Farmer de Santo Antonio do Amparo) in Amparo in San Antonio and taste the newly harvested coffee. We realized that this coffee is good year after year, and it would be great to provide traceable blended coffee every year. The bird's name comes from a long-legged native Brazilian bird. Imagine a huge runner with prehistoric characteristics. Seriema is so fast that it can often be seen running around the coffee farms of AFASA members.

AFASA Seriema is a hybrid of some of the best products offered by the group. Although the ingredients of the blended coffee vary from year to year depending on the availability, this coffee maintains our expectations and preferences for AFASA. You will find the taste of black tea, apple and cocoa in the cup.
