Guillermo Rojas's farm has been in his family for more than 50 years. Guillermo, a third-generation coffee producer whose La Falda farm is his parents' legacy, started working 10 years ago. Guillermo, who faces a family struggle, explained in an interview that farmers are the first part of the quality chain, which is very important to him. For example, finding pickers during the harvest season is a challenge, as is the case with most farms in the region, and the roads in his area are in poor condition, making it difficult to transport coffee to the point of purchase. Guillermo is eager to learn more about professional coffee production to further improve the quality of his coffee. In the future, he plans to expand his drying bed and improve fermentation facilities.

The coffee is part of the Acevedo Cup, an annual competition held in Huila, Colombia, southwest of Bogota. Between the forest rangers in the central and eastern mountains, where the Colombian Andes split into three different mountains (the Cordillera Mountains in the west, central and east). After the crossroads is the jungle, the air is damp and cool. This cold air simulates the rise in altitude, creating many different microclimates, including different humidity, temperature and rainfall. This environment leads to a variety of ideal conditions for growing coffee.
