Qianjie-brief introduction of Alida Rose Summer in Panama

Following the 2011 Rose Coffee bid for BOP Panama's most famous Elida Manor Solar Kaddura, this year we selected sunburn batches among the three major treatments of the estate: water, sun and honey! This is Arida's well-known treatment, and will try two other treatments in the future.

Elida Alida Manor is located in the town of Bouquete Poquette in Panama. Elida Manor is high above sea level, and part of it is even located in the Volcan Baru reservation of the Panamanian National Park. Baru is one of the highest volcanoes in Central America and the only volcanic type in Panama; excellent planting environment, planting about 1670-1825 meters above sea level, Alida mainly planted CATUAI, GEISHA and CRLOLLO three varieties.

The green rose summer coffee beans (Geisha Green Tip Natural) planted in Elida won the title of Geisha Washed in the 2016 Best Panamanian Bean auction (BOP). The international judges gave an incredible 94.15 points, not only the highest score in the history of BOP, but also a sky-high price of about NT $9000 per pound in the international auction field. It set a record for the highest price of Geisha Washed in BOP's history, and the winner of the 2016 all-Japan barista contest also won with coffee beans from Alida Manor.
